PARTICIPATION REQUIRED!

Let's work together to come up with 100 things we can do to fix the various aspects of our personal, national and world crises.
I will begin with an idea here and there, and each of you readers, become proactive participants and add your ideas. When we reach 100, we will pursue another stream.
Your ongoing commentary will be crucial to this endeavor. Comment and discuss ideas here. This is a forum! Let the brainstorming begin!
Hey! Come On! I have another. But where is your idea?

BE WILLING TO SACRIFICE A LITTLE BIT: FIX # 6

This fix is related to # 4. This is how to take action. This is how to stand up.
Being willing to sacrifice some personal convenience.
Want to fly to Vegas for a well-deserved get-away?
Want to fly to Disney to spend a whole lot of money by forcing yourself to have a gleeful time gazing at fake historical things, hanging out with giant cartoon characters and eating overpriced ice cream bars with mouse ears?
Want to fly to visit your grandkids?
Drive.
You miss so much when you fly over stuff. You will experience the beauty of America and the assorted cultural experiences we offer when you drive.
Your boss wants to fly you to different clients every day or every week? Join with others in your position and lobby your boss to eliminate unnecessary flights by making wisely liberal use of SKYPE.
By boycotting airports and airlines as much as possible, we will assert our power over the situation of TSA’s intrusion into our personal lives and preserve our guaranteed rights to privacy and possession.
Let’s not be willing to sacrifice our freedoms and our rights as American citizens for the mere convenience of travel. Furthermore, why spend two to twelve hours hanging around in an airport hoping to actually board a plane that will take off and deliver you where you wish to be? Avoid delays. Avoid rudeness and the infringement and violation of your person and the theft of your applesauce, yoghurt, mouthwash and bottle of water. They often don’t throw those away you know. They supplement their own groceries.
Avoiding flying also saves resources. The fewer passengers, the fewer flights. The fewer flights, the less aviation fuel is used up.
Well, this is what I’m doing. I recommend it to everyone. Money talks. Business listens when money talks. Government listens to business.
